Meet Our Students - Jessica, Junior, Agribusiness

Why did you choose Illinois State University?

I chose ISU for the great atmosphere, student body, and faculty and staff.

What do you like about Agriculture Department?

The faculty and staff in the ag. department are extremely helpful and insightful. Also the department has a great selection of classes that will help prepare you for your future employment or internships.

What are your career goals?

To become employed with a successful agriculture related company focusing on marketing or finance.

What was your 1st day at ISU like?

My first day at ISU was not hard at all. The campus is set up so it is easy to make your way around without getting lost. A lot of students are usually scared or nervous on their first day,  but ISU makes sure that before your first day you feel as comfortable as if it was your last.

What student organizations are you a member of?

I am an active member of Student Agriculture Association and the acting secretary for ISU's National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA).
